Studied music and woodwinds with Bill Scheiner in the Bronx NY in the early 1960's I then went on the study with a very well known teacher named Joseph Allard of Julliard fame. After studying with Joseph Allard I studied with another very well respected teacher named Joe Napoleon of the famous Napoleon family of musicians.For most of the 1960's I played many musical venues including rock bands, big bands, Latin bands etc.

 • The Hollywood Pops swing band
 • countless "oldies" shows musically backing up famous acts such as Jimmy Beaumont and the Skyliners, The Duprees, The Dubs

I’m glad you chose me to ask about the Gard “Trolley” bag for baritone. I’ve been happily using mine for about 2 years and I couldn’t be happier with it. This bag has saved me countless trips to and from my car or the band bus, it has made my playing life so very much easier without having to carry around a heavy baritone sax case in one hand and all of my accessories in other bags.

I use it for both my low A baritone and my Couf Superba low Bb baritone sax with no trouble at all. Of course you have to show some cautions when traveling but the bag has done a wonderful job so far, especially with the added pads you can place around the sax yourself within the bag for added protection.

Of course I do not suggest air or rail travel without prior arrangements for the protection of the horn and this is the same with any case used. I have taken my horn on airplanes but I arranged for use of my flight case and took the trolley bag separately (empty it is very lightweight so it was inexpensive to travel with).
