In hybrid pegs the shafts are made from ebony wood. The head is made of engineering plastic. The joint is truly invisible and stronger than the plastic or the ebony wood. (Under stress, before the joint comes apart, the adjacent
wood will crack).

This new technology (patent pending) enables us to offer the lowest prices worldwide coupled with top international quality. The end customer cannot distinguish between normal and hybrid pegs.

300,000 hybrid pegs manufactured by us are in use already. Hybrid pegs are tried, tested and accepted.

Acura metal pegs reduce the force required to turn a violin peg. Now it is easy to tune a violin, viola or cello – No more sticking pegs, no string adjusters required. Great for young violin students, seniors and violin teachers.

Acclimatized prefitted pegs (for manufacturers)The string hole is prebored, the shaft end is cut to length and rounded. After acclimatization for four weeks to the climate of the destination the peg shaft is shaved. The prefitted pegs are suitable for fitting into new instruments without any, or only minimal rework.

Sets in window display boxes (for retailers)The stackable window display boxes can be displayed in a music shop, or hung on a peg for self service.
